"duh" help page :(
Here are a few pointers that will help you navigate my site if you're too technologically challenged (dumb) to figure it out on your own.
1. The site uses two browser windows. The first window that opens when you go to the site is the index page. It is a blank page with "Enter at your own risk" on it. This page is used to launch the home page. The home page is the page that looks like a school composition book. So, when you go to the site, you'll have two browser windows open. If you accidentally click on the index page, the home page will still be open, but it will just be hidden in the background. It's easy to find again as long as you remember to pull your head out of your butt first.
2. All video clips are Quicktime files. So, GUESS WHAT? You need to have the Quicktime player and browser plugin on your computer! If you have a Macintosh (poser), then you probably already have Quicktime. If you have a PC (dork), then you may need to download it and install it on your machine. Click here to download Quicktime for the Mac or PC.
3. The video clip files are large! For those of you still using a 56K hamster wheel modem, you'll have to wait a few minutes to download and watch the clips. While you wait, you might want to look into getting a broadband connection and joining us in the 21st century.
4. The site is a daily journal format. When you click on the home page, you end up on my daily journal page. Each daily journal page contains 7 days of entries. When I fill a page, I start a new one and put links to the full pages on the right side of the journal. So, you might come to the page one day and find several entries. Then, you might come back and only find one or two. That means I've started a new week and you can find the old stuff by clicking on the links on the right side of the page that say, "week 1," "week 2," etc.
Have fun. You know I'm just kidding about the dumb thing, right? You know I love you. I mean, I love you, but I'm not "in love" with you. OK, I'll shut up now.
